Don't add Bones to a Skeleton.
Luca Flow studio notes / 016

For Last Call, we built a simple 3D mock up video of the camera moving through an alien bar. It was to serve as the driving video for Seedance 2.5 to follow.

We paired it with a detailed image of how the bar should look, but the image had additional details that were missing from the 3D scene. MK wanted to test if the model would keep those details while following the camera's path.

But the shot made an unexpected cut, and the room changed shape from the one in the image to more closely match the 3D mock-up. The mismatch caused the model to show us two slightly different rooms.

That opened our eyes to where the references need to match.

Keep your 3D scenes simple, yet accurate. Only include details you know will be in the image you're bringing to life.

Differences in location layout could be taken too literally - so, if your reference image doesn't have a wall, for example, then make sure that your 3D mock-up doesn't invent one neither.

The lesson is to make sure your video and image references show the same space. Preparation is key.
